I will never understand this topic but it is a very good starter with total strangers as long as a dose of humour is added

By and large I've always wanted this to be tongue in cheek!

Quality of conversing = the heart of the matter. Definitely lots to learn and explore. 😀

A very good breakdown to help initiate conversations. Great reference points. A great tool.

A local hospice and skilled nursing home program I volunteer with has many non-verbal patients. They understand but are not able to hold conversations. It’s a whole different awareness and challenge having a meaningful visit. Body language and a good read of their understanding is key. What is most important are the opportunities to interact, and engage in something they enjoy to help brighten their live, complete strangers who long for companionship or a redirection of their situation. I find your post helpful. Provides ideas and insights. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Denise. When I was younger, I had a lovely friend who was blind. We would talk for long hours. The experience of conversation is indeed different. Then there's the communication between musicians or dancers... Lots of fun avenues to explore!
