Thank you Minter for sharing. I completely share your point of view. I also believe that the less we connect with reality (nature, coffee with friends), the more afraid we are of reality. It is definitely a challenge to connect to our selves. I personally experience it as a journey, with a fresh start every day!
There's a French disease bend on changing the reality, not to accolade with it or even transformé it. Born in the French Revolution, it has morphed into anticapitalism. I suspect it has caught elesewhere, est. in the anglosaxon world. It's another way not to cope with it.
I'm not sure I caught your meaning entirely, Thomas, but it seems that the "disease" is the constant need to change reality (is this like Steve Jobs' reality distortion field?)? It feels like trying to change reality is a bit different (less problematic) than ignoring or running away from it? Are you saying anti-capitalism is akin to anti-reality?
